Mat Workout
This class consists of a series of exercises performed on the floor mat and is accompanied at times with accessories such as the fitness circle, toning balls, flex band, foam roller, stability cushion, and mini ball adding a multiple variety and difficulties to the workout. This workout uses the force gravity of the body weight to execute the exercises. Excellent workout to built the core, the strength and the coordination. Reformer Workout This class is done on a somewhat like rolling bed apparatus which is called the Reformer. The Reformer allows to get a great workout by working in strengthening and lengthening the muscles with the assistance of springs resistance. Some exercises incorporate the Tower and other accessories in order to increase the results and level of difficulty. This workout is excellent for reinforcement of knee, ankle and hip stability muscles as well as trunk muscles. |
Jumpboard
This class consists of a series of exercises performed with a jumpboard on the Reformer. The jumpboard is a vertical plateform replicating the floor allowing variety of jumps. Since the jumps are done either on a supine, sidelying, kneeling position, it reduces pressure on the joints by alleviating the downward force of gravity but still keeps the cardiovascular exertion in the workout as if you were standing. This class is not recommended for those with knee, ankles and hip injuries. Tower This class uses the mat and the Tower repertoire. The Tower wall is a reduced apparatus of the Cadillac. This allows to add a variety of exercises and adds assistance and resistance to the workout. Gentle on the joints but effective on the core. |
